But seriously conference was awesome. I was reminded of the importance of centering myself in Jesus Christ. That, I think, is the lesson that I've needed to learn for years. As I focus on the example of Christ, I find more joy, and it really is that simple.
This week, Elder Toone and I went on a "brisk walk" for our exercise. Out of the blue, an orange cat sprinted up to us and snuggled right up to elder toone. We continued and he followed us, until we saw another nasty stray hanging from his foot which was jammed pretty good in a fence which was super sad. So we ran up to it and i held it up to relieve tension on its foot, and it instantly sunk it's claws into my shoulder. Luckily, I bought this stellar canvas button up shirt with a pack of wolves on it so i was protected. Anyways, we bent the fence, freed the cat, and it took off towards a bush or something. I don't mean to brag, but I saved a nasty cat's leg and possibly it's life.
